Brunch Electronik Announces Debut USA Editions in Los Angeles

Spanish event project Brunch Electronik has announced dates for its first two stateside events in Los Angeles, with location and lineup to come.

After starting out as a modest weekly afternoon party in Barcelona in 2013, Brunch Electronik has grown into a global phenomenon. Its lively outdoor events in Madrid, Paris, Lisbon, Lima, and Sao Paulo feature tremendous tunes, fantastic food, and an amazing atmosphere. Now, they have their sights set on their biggest leap yet: all the way to the cultural capital of Los Angeles.

Brunch Electronik has announced two events in Los Angeles on July 6th and September 21st, 2024, their first events ever in the United States. While the venue for the events is unknown at this time, their announcement graphic does confirm that they will be open-air – a must for any true Brunch Electronik party. The lineups for these events are still under wraps as well, though they will be on their way “soon.”

Two premier Los Angeles event collectives are partnering with Brunch Electronik for these upcoming events: Minimal Effort and SBCLTR. Minimal Effort and its parent company, Underrated Presents, are well known for their unique and exciting electronic music events in LA, including the popular Clinic Wednesdays. SBCLTR is famous in LA for its top-tier production and curation and has even branched out internationally for its LABRYINTO festival in Costa Rica.

It will be interesting to see the talent that these collectives help to bring in to introduce Brunch Electronik to a new American audience. Among the impressive lineup of artists for their previous events are house music greats like Black Coffee, Camelphat, and Carl Cox and techno royalty like Amelie Lens, Fatima Hajji, and Innellea. Only time will tell if the lineups for these LA events will dabble in American bass music or stay true to their house and techno roots.
