Amelie Lens Welcomes First Child, a Daughter named Kiki with Husband Farrago

Belgian techno queen Amelie Lens has given birth to daughter Kiki, her first child.

In a beautiful Instagram post, world-renowned DJ and producer Amelie Lens has announced the birth of her first child, a daughter named Kiki. Amelie had announced the pregnancy back in July, one year after her wedding to fellow Belgian techno producer Farrago.

Amelie called her feeling as a new mom “a new kind of love” in the caption, and Farrago lovingly commented that he “can’t wait for the rest of my life with my 2 girls.” A number of DJ friends took to the comments to congratulate the couple, including Diplo, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, Adam Beyer, Fatima Hajji, and Lost Frequencies. Amelie’s friend from the world of modeling, Vittoria Ceretti, joined in as well to say “Kiki doesn’t know how lucky she is to have parents like you two.”

In an Instagram story, Amelie has also shared that she “had a beautiful and natural labour” and that her “body is still recovering.” Throughout the pregnancy, Amelie was very open with fans about her experience and shared countless photos of her baby bump, including a high-fashion photoshoot. She received some backlash from fans for continuing to DJ for a while following her pregnancy announcement, but fellow new mom Alison Wonderland, who faced similar criticism during her pregnancy, came to her defense.

Amelie will make her return to the stage at two New Year’s Eve shows in Belgium and the Netherlands, but has no shows scheduled after that until February 16th as she and Farrago care for their new bundle of joy. She will then make appearances at her EXHALE shows in both Antwerp and London, with a set at Ultra Miami in between. Check out her full upcoming tour schedule here.

Congratulations to the new parents Amelie Lens and Farrago for their beautiful new daughter Kiki! Check out their other 2023 collaboration, “Addicted to Bass,” below!
