Space Miami to Host EDC Las Vegas Camp Afters from 5 to 10AM

Space Miami has had a big week in music news as they announced their EDC Las Vegas afters nearly in tandem with the the summer closure news.

Space Miami, arguably one of the best night (sometimes morning …) clubs on the East Coast of the states and one of the most iconic Miami venues has had a massive week of announcements. Just a few days before the surprising news of Space Miami closing for the summer for renovations, the venue announced that they are taking their early morning energy to the EDC Vegas afters in just a few weeks.

The Camp EDC early morning afters start at 5 AM and continue until 10 AM, in true Space fashion, they will bring the grooves with sets with some of the DJs and producers most synonymous with the terrace. Currently, the Space Afters at EDC Vegas will welcome Joseph Capriati and Ben Sterling to take the stage.

The announcement on Instagram also mentions other big names to keep the energy going through the early morning, yet feral hours of a music festival. Also on deck you can expect to see the side quest king Diplo and house music bad boy Mau P fresh off their B2B at weekend two of Coachella.

If you thought the Space Afters would stop there, you are wrong, as they also have booked Honey Luv and DJ Heartstring, HAAi, Matisa, Maddy Maia B2B Tottie, and Baggi. During sunrise on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday afters enthusiasts will be able to keep the party going while dancing to some of the biggest names in dance today.

This announcement came just a few days before Space Miami announced that they would shutter their doors for the summer to work on, improve, and relocate the venue’s emergency exits and entrance stairs. While the E11even Miami condos are built, Space Miami will be moving the venue to Factory Town for the time being.

The expansion of the venue’s name brand recognition by hosting festival after parties, and a new renovation on the way, could mark a new era of the venue’s legacy and a potential expansion with more Space-hosted events across the states.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
