Los Angeles will be the center for the next Purple Party as renowned DJ Carl Cox revives the event on May 10th at The Spotlight. What started as a tribute to the late singer, Prince, at Burning Man has become an iconic party known for its disco beats and magical aura.

Held annually, the Purple Party has emerged as a phenomenon in its own right. Cox draws in hundreds of revelers who seek a blend of sonic nostalgia and communal bliss as they lose themselves in a whirlwind of aural ecstasy.

While he didn’t perform his usual Ultra Miami Music Festival set due to him broadening his horizons, this Los Angeles performance is another milestone in his career. While the DJ already has shows lined up in the coming months, he’s been announcing on social media weekly about new additional gigs. He announced earlier this month that he will be reuniting with Green Velvet to perform at the ARC Music Festival in September.
