Anyma Reveals ‘Genesys II’ Album Ahead of Coachella B2B Performance with Eric Prydz

Anyma has announced the release of his next album entitled ‘Genesys II.’

Afterlife Records founder and artist Anyma has announced a release date for his sophomore album Genesys II. Before the new album, Anyma is gearing up for several special performances leading up to the release. The new album is a follow-up to his first album ‘Genesys.’

Anyma is one half of the EDM duo Tale of Us with Carmine Conte. Beyond electronic music, the duo has dabbled in atmospheric sound and piano composition. Anyma leans into a different universe on this album that is much more connected to an anthropological look at our technological world

The tracklist includes 14 new tracks from the techno artist. The first album explored themes of technology, human, and nature. The interplay of these themes made for a unique live performance experience for the first album. Anyma’s dystopian world built the framework for further exploring the relationship between artificial intelligence and the human mind on his next project.

Each collaborator has been expertly chosen by Anyma to curate the experience of the album. Grimes is a collaborator who has also explored the relationship between humans and technology in her work. Other artists featured on the project include Sevdaliza, Camelphat, and Rebuke.

The tracklist is split into a Disc 1 and Disc 2 side. There are few songs on the album that don’t feature a collaborator. Although not yet announced, fans can anticipate a tour full of surprise guests following Genesys II.

The Genesys II experience will come to life in the live performances of the album. Anyma has plans to elevate the live performance with new visual installations and sound engineering. Up next, the artist is headed to Coachella for a solo set and a coveted back-to-back performance with the world-renowned DJ Eric Prydz.

Hi! My name is Destine and I found a love for House and EDM through my time in the NYC dance community. My favorite thing about music is how it brings people together without having to say a word. Some of my favorite artists include Kaytranada, Kelela, Shygirl, and Uncle Waffles.
