Who is DJing at F1 Abu Dhabi?

F1 Abu Dhabi Race Weekend has been a highly-anticipated event every year for racing and live performances, including one from Tiësto.

The Yasalam After-Race Concerts following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have taken place at Etihad Park for years and 2023 marked the 15th edition of the concert series. The Yasalam After-Race Concerts are just as exciting as the race itself, bringing a range of artists to Yas Island. Tiësto had been awarded the honor of headlining the opening night on Thursday, November 23.

The Dutch DJ had teamed up with rising singer-songwriter Ava Max to perform their collaboration, “The Motto.” Tiësto had shared videos of him walking along the track and playing to a sold-out crowd. The venue has been said to hold up to 35,000 people – all of whom were F1 Abu Dhabi ticket holders ready to watch the DJ.

Tiësto brought his iconic house beats to the race to start the weekend off before he and Ava Max played. Inviting Tiësto to play was on-brand for the producer as his album ‘Drive’ is a homage to his love for Formula 1 racing. The Grand Prix concert brought the good vibes following a tense race.

Foo Fighters and Shania Twain also performed for the F1 Abu Dhabi concert series. The four-day event tends to have artists from a different genre each night and DJs have consistently been included. Electronic music artists that have played in past years include Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix with DJ Snake, and The Chemical Brothers, among others.

The weekend of F1 Abu Dhabi is full of entertainment. The 16th edition is set for December 5 to December 8 2024. Next year’s performers have yet to be announced, so stay updated on the official website

Clips of Tiësto playing at the race have been posted on social media. Be on the lookout for videos of the energetic set
