Multiple Women Accuse Dubstep DJ AuZü of Sexual Assault

Three women have come forward to share separate allegations against AuZü.

Last week, a Twitter user @xxXNomiaXxx came forward to share details of her relationship with a dubstep DJ who goes by AuZü or @AuZuMusic on Twitter. She highlighted one specific encounter in 2021 between her and the DJ. In the post, she briefly described a nonconsensual sexual encounter claiming, “I kept telling him no and he wouldn’t take it as an answer.”

The woman followed up in the thread with apparent screenshots from AuZü regarding her post, stating, “The gaslighting, manipulation and victim blaming continues.” The messages appear to have come from her contact, “Austin.”

In response to @xxXNomiaXxx’s original post, another Twitter user who goes by @vibrantbeaa described a similar encounter. She wrote, “early 2021 i had an incident w him where he tried to push/coerce me then lied to his friends that we had s*x, we didn’t. i told him that i was celibate a few times, he didn’t care & kept pushing (pushed my hand & head etc) THEN he called me 20x begging me not to out him on twt.” She then posted a more detailed account of the incident as a screenshot from her Notes app.

The original poster replied to @vibrantbeaa’s response in an effort to console her. She alleged that AuZü frequently finds himself in this situation, “it’s quite pathetic how often he will spam call/text just to beg women not to come forward.”

One day after @xxXNomiaXxx’s post, a third Twitter chimed in with a similar experience. This time, @lauren_moore_ alleged to have previously been in an eight-month relationship with AuZü, whose real name is Austin Mendoza, according to her post. The woman wrote, “He was physically, mentally and emotionally abusive with me,” detailing specific examples of his abuse. She then went on to describe a non-consensual sexual encounter that he allegedly had with her.

She followed up with another tweet claiming that AuZü had reached out to her regarding this post. Apparently, he was “blowing up” her phone attempting to apologize only because “his reputation is in danger.” The DJ has not posted anything to social media regarding the allegations, and in fact, he hasn’t posted anything at all since October 18th when @xxXNomiaXxx made her statement.
