Kid Cudi Breaks Foot During Coachella Performance in Shocking Video

Rapper Kid Cudi has canceled his world tour after breaking his foot at Coachella 2024.

Kid Cudi’s Coachella performance stood out as one of the most highly anticipated last-minute additions to the festival. Unfortunately, the excitement ended abruptly when Cudi attempted to jump off stage and breaking his foot in the process. Addressing the incident late Sunday night, Cudi confirmed the injury, expressing gratitude for the well wishes and concern from fans.

The mishap occurred towards the end of his set while he was performing “Best Memories,” a collaboration with David Guetta. Fan-captured footage shows Cudi leaping off stage and landing beside a security guard. He instantly was unable to stand on his own and requiring assistance off the stage.

Despite the setback, Cudi’s performance earlier in the evening drew one of the largest crowds of the weekend at the Sahara tent. He debuted two new songs, “Moon Man Shit” and “Blue Sky,” along with performing hits like “Up Up & Away” and “Tequila Shots.” Notably, his previous Coachella appearance in 2019 featured a surprise guest appearance by Kanye West to perform tracks from their collaborative album “Kids See Ghosts.”

A few days later, the diagnosis is more severe than first thought and Cudi will have to undergo surgery, forcing him to cancel his upcoming Insano Tour. The artist took to Instagram to share a statement on the situation. He had broken his calcaneus – or heel bone – and following surgery, is anticipating a “long recovery time.”

Additionally, Cudi said that everyone who had purchased a ticket to the Insano tour would receive a full refund. Cudi also thanked his fans for their support and said he’s planning a new tour “as soon as possible.”

The global Insano Tour was slated to kick off this June and would run until August before picking back up again in February 2024.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
