Tale of Us Deliver Unforgettable Weekend with their Afterlife Los Angeles Debut

Los Angeles has been fully immersed in the world of Tale of Us with the artist’s debut 2-Day Afterlife Experience this past weekend.

On October 13 and 14, Tale of Us brought the full production of their event series, Afterlife, to the City of Angels for a two-day spectacle. From the array of talent on the lineup to the stunning colossal visuals, this was a weekend that Los Angeles will never forget. The last time Tale of Us performed in Los Angeles was in 2021 when they joined Circoloco and a handful of other artists for a one-night showcase in El Pueblo de Los Angeles.

This time, Tale of Us took matters into their own hands and wanted to make a statement on the West Coast. The back-to-back weekend shows took place at the Los Angeles State Historic Park, a 32-acre park in the heart of LA, including a star-stunning city skyline.

Day one featured support from Julya Karma, Kevin De Vries, and Argy. Once the sunset began, ½ of Tale of Us’, Carmine Conte, showcased his solo project, MRAK presents: We Don’t Follow. The solo project is an extension of Tale of Us that feeds back into the duo’s overall essence. MRAK’s live show featured cutting-edge lighting innovations. This generated powerful harmonies through analog equipment, while also experimenting with improvisation, modulations, and digital sequences.  Once the maestro wrapped up his set, the stage quickly shifted sets for both Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri to come together for their anticipated headline act of Tale of Us.

After Day One, the buzz around Afterlife coming to Los Angeles appeared in all of the media following its success. So, of course, the anticipation for Day Two filled the bodies of all attendees. Saturday originally sold as the only Afterlife date prior to Framework announcing a second day due to extreme demands. So, of course, the lineup for Saturday needed to match. The event hosted opening sets by not only one superstar artist but three. Certainly, the support acts made it hard to arrive any later than the opening featuring Layla Benitez, Cassian, and Adriatique. Also, the highly anticipated West Coast debut of Anyma’s ‘Genesys‘ was on the books.

From start to finish, our jaws were on the floor with how amazing this production appeared. With one enormous LED screen expanding through the length of the crowd, the stage set both an outstanding audio experience and a visual one. The opening acts by Layla Benitez and Cassian prepared the crowd for a phenomenal night. While the picturesque sunset performance by Adriatique delivered nothing but pure bliss. Then, silence filled the stadium as the anticipation for Anyma to take the stage set in.

Suddenly, both Anyma in his custom armor by Nikita Replyanski and his iconic ‘Consciousness‘ NFT appeared on stage. Roars around the park could be heard by all as the ‘Genesys’ debut began. Throughout the hour, Anyma did not hold back. He performed classic tracks like ‘Syren’ and ‘Eternity’. But, he also threw in his remix tracks for Fred Again and Lana del Rey. Also, a few unreleased tracks debuted including the world premiere of Anyma’s latest track rumored to be called ‘Pictures of You Without Me’.

The crowd’s energy truly could not be beaten following the conclusion by Anyma. But, luckily another set by the duo was next. Matteo and Carmine took the stage together once again under the beautiful Los Angeles landscape. Some notable tracks included the duo’s ‘Hot in Here’ remix and the newest Afterlife release ‘Aria’ by Argy & Omyna. But of course, the unreleased tracks like “Hit the Club” paired with instance visuals and lights had huge reactions. Tale of Us gave the fans one last memory after this amazing debut in Los Angeles. But, no one would believe the track played! To conclude the night, Tale of Us played a brand new remix of Pink Floyd’s famous track ‘Hey, teacher’. Certainly, a classic for many fans which put the bow on a beautiful Afterlife night.
