Due to an injury sustained during his Coachella 2024 performance, Kid Cudi has announced the cancellation of his upcoming tour.

Kid Cudi has just announced the cancellation of the forthcoming INSANO Tour, because of a broken heel bone. The injury is, “much more serious than [he] thought,” and heads into surgery which is known to hold a long recovery time.

During his surprise performance during Weekend 2 of Coachella 2024, Scott Mescudi who is famously known by his artist name Kid Cudi, injured himself while jumping off stage during his set. Though the injury is very serious, Kid Cudi remains in “good spirits.”

It has now been confirmed that Cudi has a broken calcaneus, which is the large bone that forms the heel and where the Achilles tendon is attached to. The incident was caught on video and occurred while Cudi was performing his hit song ‘Memories‘ ft. David Guetta. Cudi is seen jumping off stage and unable to get up after the fall resulting in the cancellation of the rest of his Coachella performance.

In a post directed to his fans, he revealed that he has to cancel both the US and Europe leg of the INSANO Tour so that he can, “focus on getting better to be out there in top shape to rage with you all.”

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
