The Brooklyn Mirage Announces Swedish House Mafia as Opening Act for 2024 Season

Swedish House Mafia has shocked house heads with an impromptu show announcement to kick off the Brooklyn Mirage 2024 season opening.

In a whirlwind announcement, Brooklyn Mirage has revealed Swedish House Mafia as its opening act this Saturday, April 27, 2024.  While the Mirage’s season typically doesn’t start until May, the organizers came together to give fans quite a treat.  With over a decade-long legacy, SHM will undoubtedly light up opening night with their magnetic stage presence and iconic sounds.

Swedish House Mafia consists of three exceptionally talented DJ/producers: Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. Formed in 2008, the trio quickly rose to prominence with their euphoric blend of progressive house music. Their chart-topping hits such as “Don’t You Worry Child” and “Save the World” have become anthems in the EDM community, capturing heart-warming memories and inexplicable bliss.

After a brief hiatus, Swedish House Mafia reunited in 2018 for an unforgettable closing set at Ultra Miami’s mainstage.  Since then, they have dominated stages worldwide at venues like Coachella, Kappa Futur, and Creamfields. Furthermore, the group is soon to commence their residency at Ushuaia Ibiza this summer. Thus, SHM’s Brooklyn Mirage unquestionably marks an incredible high note for both the trio’s and the venue’s 2024 calendar.

Since its inception, Brooklyn Mirage has now played host to virtually all the biggest talents in electronic music.  During its 2023 season alone, the Mirage saw performances from major names like Keinemusik, John Summit, and Gordo.  With its unique blend of industrial architecture and lush greenery, the venue offers an enchanting backdrop for musical escapades galore.

Brooklyn Mirage’s announcement of Swedish House Mafia as its opening act comes just following the trio’s plans to release their single “Lioness” this Friday.  Naturally, fans will be jumping at the opportunity to witness this new material live along with a slew of the trio’s highly celebrated tracks.  One thing is for sure – Swedish House Mafia will be kicking off Brooklyn Mirage’s 2024 season in spectacular fashion
