What is Coachella’s Neon Carnival?

Everyone knows what goes on at Coachella – but what does Coachella’s Go-to afterparty, Neon Carnival, entail?

Although it’s not technically associated with Coachella, Neon Carnival is the go-to Coachella afterparty typically held during weekend one of the esteemed festival. This year celebrated the 13th edition of the invite-only, celebrity-heavy extravaganza – and word on the street is that this was its best edition yet.

Neon Carnival came to light in 2009 all thanks to owner Brent Bolthouse and features carnival rides, games, renowned DJ performances, and more. The A-lister soirée is not the type of event you can buy tickets for or request guest list credentials for. You must be invited by a regular to be able to attend.

This year’s Neon Carnival took place at Desert International Horse Park in Thermal, Califonia during the first weekend of Coachella and was sponsored by illustrious lifestyle brands Liquid IV, Levi’s, and Patron. Additional sponsors included Ghost Energy, Tangle Teezer, LaCroix, Coca-Cola, Nütrl Vodka Seltzers, French bee Airlines, ApeCoin, Heineken, and Path Water. Headlined by DJ Pee.Wee AKA Anderson .Paak’s DJ alias, DJ Hunny Bee, and James Kennedy from ‘Vanderpump Rules’, this was surely the place to keep the party going following day two of Coachella.

Coachella is known for its massive celebrity sightings, and Neon Carnival is no different. The guest list for this recent 13th edition included prestigious names like Paris Hilton (a regular throughout the past couple of years), Kesha, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Rihanna, Ice Spice, Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake, and many more. Social media influencer Alix Earle was also spotted with sister Ashten Earle throughout the carnival grounds.

Neon Carnival may not be for everyone, but anyone who gets the privilege to attend can say they have experienced partying with top-notch celebrities during one of the most reputable weekends in the entire music industry. Thanks to social media, more and more “normies” are beginning to learn about Neon Carnival – and we wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes more popular across the board.

There are no black-and-white tips or tricks on how to get an exclusive Neon Carnival invite, but knowing industry giants or having friends who work in the industry is definitely a start. It’s hard to find afters in the middle of the desert where Coachella is located, but don’t worry because Neon Carnival has got festivalgoers covered if they’re able to snag an invite.
