Paris Hilton Shares Iconic 2000s Era Photo with Steve Aoki Ahead of New Collab “Lighter”

Paris Hilton celebrates new single “Lighter” with Steve Aoki by sharing a picture of the two from the 2000s.

After 20 years of friendship, Paris Hilton and Steve Aoki drop their first single together, “Lighter” – out now. The pair debuted the track at Tomorrowland 2023 in June, when Paris joined Aoki on stage during his set.

The performance caught heat as many people called out Paris for lip-syncing, but nevertheless, the song has been highly anticipated by fans ever since. Through all the backlash that Paris has received about her DJ career, the new single proves that Paris isn’t letting the haters stop her from living her best life.

In celebration of the new single from the long-time friends, Paris shared an iconic picture of the two from the 2000s. In the bottom right corner of the image, you can see a young Kim Kardashian who at the time was Paris Hilton’s personal assistant and stylist.

Paris Hilton also went on the Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote the single and announce her new album. Although there is no official date to which her album will be dropping, fans can expect it sometime next year. During the interview, she revealed that the album will be executively produced by 9-time Grammy-nominated artist S.I.A. The two shared the stage earlier this year to perform Paris’s iconic hit “Stars Are Blind” with Miley Cyrus at her New Year’s party, “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party.” Check out the iconic performance below.

This isn’t the only time Paris has revisited her iconic hit as she released a new version of the single “Stars Are Blind” with pop sensation Kim Petras. She has also released another single this summer, “Hot One” proving that her ambitions to continue with a music career are real.

Make sure to stay tuned for more information on Paris’s new album coming in 2024. In the meantime, you can listen to Paris and Steve Aoki’s new single, “Lighter” out now!

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
