Pioneer DJ’s Sister Brand AlphaTheta Launches Flagship Rotary Mixer

AlphaTheta has released euphonia, its first rotary mixer that promises to create euphoric harmonies.

Yoshinori Kataoka, the president and CEO of AlphaTheta, announced in January that the brand had created plans to release new products this year. It has now revealed euphonia, a DJ mixer that has been made with groundbreaking technology. The mixer has been priced at $3,799.

The company has described euphonia’s key feature as “[producing] a euphoric sound with the clarity of digital and the richness of analog.” In other words, AlphaTheta has combined the best qualities of digital and analog technologies to create euphonia. There has been a special interest placed on producing clearer sound.

The high-quality sound is credited to the mixer’s transformer circuit which AlphaTheta and Rupert Neve Designs designed. The circuit makes the sound smoother, thus making the act of mixing easier. The mixer enhances low, mid, and high frequencies and each part of a track is amplified when played through the euphonia, especially in addition to its five filters and effects.

With a sleek black design and rose gold features, the 4-channel rotary mixer is aesthetically pleasing and professionally developed. The knobs on the faders and isolators are specially designed for euphonia to enhance DJing. AlphaTheta also included a visualizer with a needle meter for all four channels that can be seen simultaneously.

AlphaTheta has strived to create some of the best DJing equipment for two decades. Its sister brand, Pioneer DJ, has paved the way for professional DJ gear. They have both impacted the dance music industry through their involvement in developing the CDJ-500.

Now, the euphonia by AlphaTheta is striving to make mixing more natural and enjoyable. The euphonia is available now and has numerous features that make it one of the best. For more information on the mixer, visit AlphaTheta’s official website
