Swedish House Mafia Return to Ushuaïa Ibiza for 6-Week Residency

Ushuaïa Ibiza has announced a six-show run from Swedish House Mafia in Summer 2024, the group’s first Ibiza residency in over a decade.

The legendary supergroup Swedish House Mafia (Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello) has roared back onto the dance music scene in recent years with their first album since 2012 and a series of stellar shows around the world. Now, the next blockbuster stop on their rise back to the top has been revealed: the illustrious island of Ibiza. The trio have announced a six-show residency at world-renowned dance music haven Ushuaïa Ibiza from July 21st through August 25th, 2024 – their first residency in Ibiza in over a decade.

Swedish House Mafia has a storied history at Ushuaïa Ibiza, and this upcoming run of shows is sure to be the most epic yet. Their return to the spectacular superclub has already sparked tons of excitement, both from fans who frequent Ibiza and those who will be making their first trip to the iconic destination this summer. Sebastian Ingrosso stirred the pot even more by warning followers, “The island is gonna get moved at least 10 cm.”

With performances at Badlands Festival in Canada and Tomorrowland in Belgium also lined up, the summer of 2024 is shaping up to be the summer of Swedish House Mafia. It will be interesting to see what surprises the group may have in store for fans who are lucky enough to catch any of these shows.

This SHM residency bolsters the already tremendous lineup of talent that will hold down the fort at Ushuaïa this summer. Superstars like Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, and Armin van Buuren will frequent the Ushuaïa stage, as will a variety of artists to be announced for the debut Ibiza residency for English house label Defected. Add the great Swedish House Mafia to that list, and this may just be the best summer ever for the top-tier Ibiza superclub.
