David Guetta Reigns Supreme as The World’s Number 1 DJ for Fourth Time

After a year packed with huge releases, David Guetta has earned the number 1 spot on DJ Mag’s ‘Top 100 DJs’ poll.

David Guetta has been voted number 1 three times before and was first crowned in 2011. He went on to rule in 2020 and 2021 and has remained in the top 10 since 2007. The longtime artist has released hit after hit and his achievements this year have been cemented by the public.

DJ Mag has been allowing the community to vote for the world’s top 100 DJs since 1997. The poll has become an important part of the scene for producers and receives around 10 million views when the results are published. Guetta has taken over once again and for good reason.

Along with being number 1 on DJ Mag’s poll, the French producer was nominated for a Grammy this year and has earned two nominations for 2024. The producer has topped global charts with his dance remix of “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” featuring Anne-Marie and Coi Leray. This year’s successes follow the reception he and Bebe Rhexa had on “I’m Good (Blue)” when it dropped last year.

“It’s great because I feel like every time I’m on the top of the Top 100 DJs, it’s for a different reason. You know, the two previous times were probably thanks to Future Rave. This time is probably thanks to “I’m Good” and those big crossover records,” Guetta said about the win.

The producer has touched every part of electronic music and shown immense talent while doing so. Since beginning his career in 1986, Guetta has gone from playing hip-hop and disco in clubs to earning billions of streams on dance-pop songs and selling out shows with house sets. He is always on the move and is playing shows around the world in December and January.

To celebrate the achievement of being the world’s number 1 DJ, David Guetta has created a mix for DJ Mag. The mix reflects his skillset as a DJ as he plays tracks that impacted his musical journey. Watch the artist’s house set, filmed in Ibiza, here:
