deadmau5 Spontaneously Joins Spencer Brown on Stage During mau5trap Presents LA Showcase

deadmau5 shocked everyone when he showed up to Spencer Brown’s set at mau5trap Presents LA Showcase and performed a surprise b2b.

Spencer Brown made an Instagram post about how the experience was a roller coaster of emotion in the best way. This was because at first, he thought he was getting kicked off the board during the early April event, and even admitted it made him confused for a moment, but deadmau5 just plugged in and insisted on a b2b with him. This was an iconic moment for the rising artist.

deadmau5 showed up to Spencer Brown’s set just about 20 minutes in and created a major shock moment for everyone. Many people in the comments of his post were also stunned – one person noted “Imagine being a fan of the artist and the artist turns up for a b2b” and then congratulated him. Others used terms like a unique experience and that Spencer Brown has now earned his stripes.

Spencer Brown has hit the ground running with his soul-hitting tunes and has proven to truly have a uniquely upbeat and magical techno sound. deadmau5 and his record label mau5trap are also known for supporting all genres of music and artists that have now turned into huge names. For deadmau5 to spontaneously show up kind of says without saying it that he thinks you’re on the right track.

Spencer Brown has also been keeping busy and booked as he recently announced a collaboration with Above & Beyond’s Paavo with their new track “Polar Bears.” Along with an album collab with his longtime idol John Digweed. In the past, he has worked with Calvin Harris, deadmau5, and Sasha.

Some of Spencer Brown’s biggest hits include “Rainy April,” “Long Way From Home,” “SF to Berlin,” “Pursuance,” “Always Do You,” “Phases,” and “Bill Graham.” He began gaining attention about 4 years ago.  He has five upcoming tour dates in Maspeth, NY, on April 28, Sacramento, CA, on May 7; EDC in Las Vegas on May 19; and then will be out of the country in Albania, and Rome.
