The Chainsmokers Follow Award-Winning ‘So Far So Good’ Album With New Single “Up & Down” Featuring 347Aidan

The Chainsmokers have returned with “Up & Down,” a new collaboration with 347aidan prefacing their fifth album.

For the first time in a little over a year, The Chainsmokers are returning with their track “Up & Down,” a collaboration with 347aidan. The single debuted in Japan at the beginning of the year and has been a fan-favorite since. In fact, the song was used in a pre-game show and at a post-game party for the Super Bowl.

With the release comes the announcement of a new album from the duo. Writing, “TCS5…it begins…”, The Chainsmokers are definitely getting ready to release a new record following ‘So Far So Good,” released last year. Their fourth album alone earned over 750 million streams and made it to #1 on the Billboard Dance chart.

The Chainsmokers have found longtime success in their electropop hits since 2014 with the song “#SELFIE,” later winning a Grammy for Best Dance Recording with “Don’t Let Me Down” in 2017. Their newest collaboration features Canadian rapper 347aidan, who contributes catchy lyrics to the single.

Starting with synths and kickdrums, ”Up & Down” kicks off an overall summery and upbeat track. 347aidan’s smooth vocals and the song’s contagious beat come together to add a new, exciting track to everyone’s summer playlist.

Award-winning pair, The Chainsmokers, are always playing shows and have had Las Vegas residencies over the last few years. They recently announced their biggest show yet in Los Angeles on August 19 and their show at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in September.
