Watch Getter Perform Rap Alter-Ego ‘Terror Reid’ at Rolling Loud Los Angeles

Getter’s hip-hop side to his music – Terror Reid – made an epic appearance at Rolling Loud.

Dubstep and trap DJ Getter did a rare performance as his hip-hop alter ego Terror Reid at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles which occurred on March 14-17. Getter as Terror Ried is a complete switch-up from his EDM style with rapping on stage.

Terror Reid’s style is inspired by Getter’s favorite rappers Eminem, Necro, and MF Doom. He embraces old-school rap that is fast-paced and beat-heavy. Gette started Terror Reid in 2017 after a random studio session where he realized he could rap. He now enjoys expressing another side of his music creativity.

Getter once said that he could see himself doing hip-hop more long-term compared to EDM because it has more play value and people will listen to it more instead of just putting out a track and having people listen to it for a week and asking what’s next. He said he would be completely happy doing this instead as well.

Some of Terror Reid’s most popular tracks are “WHO DAT?” and “FUCK EVERYBODY,” “UPPERCUTS” AND “STORMIN THA GATES. He also just released a new prelude on Friday.

Rolling Loud is the perfect place to perform a rap set as it is one of the most recognized hip-hop festivals in the world. It brought major headliners including Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, and Future x Metro Boomin. Some other huge names on the lineup were Sexxy Red, Party Next Door, Big Sean, $uiciddeboy$, and Bryson Tiller.

The festival occurs at Hollywood Park Grounds which is Adjacent to Sofi Stadium which will also host Hard Summer and is just 9 miles away from Downtown Los Angeles. The 25-acre park has large grounds, gardens, lush areas, trails, and lakefront spots making it a hot spot for festivals and events.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
