Lil Uzi Vert Claims Rolling Loud Festival Added Them as Headliner Without Permission

Rolling Loud California has responded back to Lil Uzi Vert with a legendary response after a logistical misunderstanding.

Remarkably quick, the renowned and well-liked rapper took it to Instagram stories to clap back at the Rolling Loud festival. The confused rapper reposted Rolling Loud’s 2024 flyer questioning why they are on a lineup that they never agreed to do in the first place.

On Wednesday, November 15th Rolling Loud, an eminent rap/ hip-hop music festival, posted an impressive 2024 headlining list on Instagram for the California-based festival. Notable artists named on Rolling Loud’s headliners include artists such as Nicki Minaj, Rae Sremmurd, Chief Keef, Ski Mask The Slump Dog, Party Next Door, Bryson Tiller, and Sexyy Red. Included in this list, Lil Uzi Vert noticed there had to be some mistake.

Fans were left confused wondering if this was some sort of troll. A misunderstanding? A fluke of a prank. Unfortunately, actions spoke louder than words here. Oh, how the tables quickly turned there for Lil Uzi Vert. Approximately twenty-four hours later, Rolling Loud responded to the comeback with a 0 to 100 response replacing Lil Uzi Vert’s headlining name with Future and Metro Boomin. The prominent festival also captioned the photo with a shady-not-so-shady response.

Under Festive Owl’s announcement on the matter, there is a whole assortment of Instagram comments ranging from supporting the artist, to not supporting the festival or artist at all. Rolling Loud has received backlash in the past for various reasons starting with a lack of female rappers, late set times, lots of lip-syncing, and 35-minute rap shows according to @davishampton453. Other comments came from the rapper’s lack of communication such as @im_wanmei who judged Uzi as a “prima Donna”.

Yoooo, the homies call me Marz. I am a multidimensional Piscean Latina fairy from Miami-Dade County (no, not Florida). Electronic music has allowed me to appreciate the profound beauty that can be found in finding peace within the chaos. Artists such as Rezz, Skrillex, John Summit, Michael Bibi, and Amtrac blend the two seamlessly, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with me whenever I am on the dancefloor. When I am writing about electronic music, I feel this same balance of peace and chaos moving through me - starting in my hips, filling my heart, and radiating out from my soul. The power of music has brought me to this exact moment, and I only desire that you feel the warmth of the sun through my words.
