RL Grime Opens Up About Creativity Struggles Before ‘Play’ Album Release

RL Grime admitted that he had struggles in a period of stagnant-ness before regaining himself to create his newest album “Play.”

In a lengthy Instagram post, RL Grime expressed how grateful he is to release “Play” after having no motivation to make music for some time. He said that he wrote the paragraph at the park because he needed to get some random thoughts down as he tried to wrap his head around it.

RL Grime said this album allowed him to regain his confidence as a producer and as a person overall. He explained that it is hard to not get caught up in the relentless and ever-impending content/virality race of the current music industry and that for a long time, it weighed down on his creativity and completely pushed him away from engaging with social media.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
