CloZee and LSDREAM Rename Collab Project LSZEE Due to Trademark Issues

CloZee and LSDREAM have decided to rename their collab project because someone else already has a trademark under the name.

A collaboration project between CloZee and LSDREAM will now be named LSZEE instead of PSYRN. Their first collab name was announced in early December but recently the two explained it had to be adjusted due to trademark issues. 

CloZee and LSDREAM have been using LSZEE internally for years as it has been what they would name their b2b playlist and it is what they called the project before they wrote a song called PSYRN. Once they got the news of the trademark issues they were inspired to just switch it over to the familiar name.

In the Instagram post, they explained the name change had to be done due to the law but also out of respect for the other artists with a similar name. So they are going to just stick to LSZEE as the official collaboration name. Comments on the post said they were fond of LSZEE instead and said, “I love LSZEE wayyy more anyways” and “LSZEE better anyways.”

The name change announcement included that the two would also be announcing another huge fest together soon. They said they are super stoked to reunite together in the studio and keep working on their precious baby. 

The idea to come together to make a full album of combined music from CloZee and LSDREAM first came to light in April 2023. They said they concluded that they love making music together so it is a must to make it happen. At the time, the two explained coming together for the album was a super meaningful and special occasion for them. 

CloZee also shared some special words on the project in a December press release that she has always been a big fan of Sami’s art and visions. She added that this outlook makes it a dream to develop and create a whole musical experience together.
