Diplo Joined by Marshmello, Guy Fieri, and More During Stagecoach Performance

Diplo held one funky Honky Tonk at Stagecoach with a range of artists to spice things up including his own set.

Diplo invited some unexpected surprise guests during his performance at Stagecoach including Guy Fieri, Marshmello, and Hardy, partying alongside him. He also ran Stagecoach’s Honky Tonk stage this year and brought a slew of exciting names and diverse sound.

A video shows a moment during Diplo’s set where he and Guy Fieri, who had a cigar in hand, were on stage together and took a shot straight from a bottle of whiskey. The two have been long-time friends and partners in country music.

Diplo also posted a bunch of photos of him and other stars like Morgan Wallen, Lana Del Rey, and Cloonee at Stagecoach. The caption of the post said, “Just a kid from Florida who grew up listening to country music and now gets to create it surrounded by some extremely talented people and have my own stage at the biggest country music festival in the world. @stagecoach I am so grateful and thanks to all my friends for coming, performing, and drinking beer with me.”

The Honky Tonk lineup consisted of Brandi Cyrus, who is Miley Cyrus’s sister, Cheat Codes, Cloonee, Dillion Frances, Diplo, Honky Tonkin’ in Queens, James Kennedy, Ship Wreck, Vavo, Y.O.G.A, Alana Grace, Backwoods Barbie, Famous Dave, Keahi, Kermie J Rock, Kevin Bolt, Lauren, Rock Dominguez, and Slim McGraw.

Diplo ventured into country music territory in 2019 when he introduced his country alter-ego project, Thomas Wesley, – which is his real name – just before he had a performance at Stagecoach that year. However, Diplo has not made much country music yet.

But he did release a country track “So Long,” featuring Nashville-based country artist Cam, at the time, and made a music video for it at Stagecoach also. The music video features Diplo partying with Guy Fieri back then too.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
