Watch Alesso perform as new Alias BODY HI at Coachella

Alesso debuted his new project BODY HI the first weekend of Coachella and has delivered his promise of high-energy house music sets.

The electro-pop artist had taken a slight turn from his radio hits to delve into house music on the Do LaB stage. The BODY HI set had begun dramatically with deeper, slower beats that built anticipation. The giant crowd had raised their hands as they bopped to the tracks.

From beginning to end, Alesso had kept the crowd’s attention as multicolored lasers dispersed through and above the crowd. He had played through some of his own songs including “Heroes (We Could Be)” and switched it up by remixing tracks like “I Lived” by OneRepublic. For lovers of deep house music, BODY HI has hit the mark.

Alesso announced the BODY HI label last month, promising fresh tracks alongside a series of house music events. He released “Zig Zag” at the same time and gained support from longtime listeners. On top of his consistent supporters, BODY HI has also allowed the artist to gain some new fans.

The artist has been creating dance music for over a decade and become a beloved DJ. Alesso worked with big names in the music industry from Tove Lo and Katy Perry to Calvin Harris and David Guetta. Sebastian Ingrosso of Swedish House Mafia has also impacted his career by helping him learn how to produce.

BODY HI has been met with support and excitement from fans who are ready for what is to come next. Alesso has confirmed that he is bringing his alias to San Francisco for an extended set at the IllUM Block Party on July 6.

Apart from getting into the groove of BODY HI, his newest EP ‘Hypnotize’ is now available to pre-save and coming soon. Until then, watch Alesso debut his alias BODY HI at Coachella here:
