Excision and Subtronics Rumored to Play B2B Performance at Bass Canyon 2023

Could an Excision b2b Subtronics set happen for the first time ever at bass canyon?

Hopes for this epic b2b grew very possible after Excision’s Bass Canyon released its 2023 lineup about 3 months ago. Excision is for sure slated for a b2b with someone who is currently blurred out on the lineup. The first letter slightly looks like an “S” – but nothing will be for sure until the festival approaches.

The rumor has stayed under the radar for a few months, but as the dates for the festival get closer, it has started to come to light again. A recent tweet from the beginning of July re-highlighted a post from Bass Canyon which sparked attention that it may be safe to assume the b2b is coming. It said: “Seems like we’ll be getting the first-ever @Excision b2b @Subtronics set at @BassCayon this!”

This was referring to a Bass Canyon tweet that said: “Bass Canyon Fam, everyone has been asking about the blurred B2B! It’s going to be absolutely massive, so get ready! But this year it has to remain a secret. Just know they’re gonna turn that s**t up.” There is good reason to believe Subtronics will be Excision’s b2b mate, but it is unclear for now and is technically supposed to be a secret.

An Excision b2b Subtronics set would be extra special because the two artists both stand-alone very prominently in the dubstep/bass scene. Excision holds a major OG status especially after creating his very own festivals with Bass Canyon and Lost Lands, while Subtronics has made a name for himself with a very unique beloved sound.

Bass Canyon has some other major artists to look out for if you’re headed to the festival. This includes ATliens, Black Tiger Sex Machine, GRiZ, Lil Texas, Liquid Stranger, Sullivan King, Svdden Death, and more.

You can for sure catch Subtronics at his upcoming shows at The Brooklyn Mirage on July 20 or Lollapalooza on August 2. Catch Excision next in Canada at Badlands on July 11 or Shambhala on July 21 along with Das Energi on August 11 or Moonrise on August 13.

I remember hearing Edm for the first time and thinking I knew this type of music would change my life. I love all genres and the art that goes behind it all. You can catch me dancing to a wide range of tunes.
