Inside Chicago’s Newest Music Venue Outset

Auris Presents has announced it’s newest music venue in Chicago debuting this summer.

Chicago’s newest music venue, Outset, is set to open on June 1st, 2024, and the team putting it together is about to rock Chi-town’s world. Auris Presents, the team behind music venues Radius and Concord Music Hall, has put together what seems to be a trendsetter for music venues in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood.

The Auris Presents team has been teasing a magnificent lineup of initial programming prepared once Outset opens. Including but not limited to, two-night runs from Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Rawayana, Thievery Corporation, and Parliament Funkadelic ft. George Clinton with Dumpstaphunk, Outset is about to elevate Chicago’s live music scene with its strategic setup.

This unique venue was created using the combined decades of expertise from Auris Presents leaders Nick Karounos, Stuart Hackley, and John Curley and is structured in a way that will revolutionize live music performances. On top of being Auris Presents’ newest addition to their family of music venues, Outset caters to the fans and has a cutting-edge D&B XSL sound system, as well as incredible sight lines from both the main floor and the wrap-around balcony.

The 750-person capacity, 10,000-square-foot venue will offer the production value of one that is large-scale while still keeping the ambiance and vibe of smaller-scale settings that fans typically enjoy. While beating out other Chicago music venues in terms of attracting fans and mainstream, established artists alike, Outset is diversifying the Chicago music scene

Auris Presents are proving their dedication to instilling the intimacy that smaller settings provide in Outset by creating room for rising talent in the local (and non-local) music scene. If that wasn’t already raising the bar, Outset also has a 10,000-square-foot outdoor space that attendees can enjoy. Fans will have access to not only a rotating variety of local food trucks, but beverages, artist merchandise, fan-focused activations, and community events as well.

Outset’s motto, “This feels like the beginning of something”, speaks volumes and tells of a bright future. To further prove this, fans and music artists alike are avidly showing their excitement for the grand opening of the event space as shown by their support and love in the comment sections on Auris Presents‘ socials.
