Mau P Honors Dad with Gold Sales on “Drugs From Amsterdam”

Mau P honors his father in a way many people cannot: with a gold sales plaque.

Not even a full year into his career, Mau P honors his father with a gold sales plaque for his very first song released titled “Drugs From Amsterdam”. With success like this, Mau P is proving that he is here to stay in this industry.

With the recent release of his last track, “Your Mind Is Dirty,” back in May (that was accompanied by an OnlyFans account), the guy has been touring around the world and continuously getting bigger crowds. On Father’s Day, he had his biggest show to date with 3,000 people and dedicated the show to his father saying “You taught me everything I know about music.”

“Drugs From Amsterdam” is an original song the artist released with no features, and it almost has 100 million streams on Spotify. If you’ve listened to the track, you can understand why it is such a hit with the production and vocal layovers throughout the song. It builds off each note that keeps the listener entranced in the melody.

Alongside getting this new plaque, Mau P has been performing in various places like Ibiza, Romania, and Cyprus. Through each concert, he is continuously proving that his success in the EDM realm is well deserved.

One fan commented on his post about the plaques stating, “Many more to come,” to which Mau P replied, “Working on it.” This could either mean he is working on new music, or that he is anticipating that his already released songs will find the same kind of success as he continues to get bigger.

With only three original tracks and one remix out, Mau P has over 4.5 million Spotify listeners. As he performs in bigger venues and travels more worldwide, the number will just continue to grow. Check out “Drugs From Amsterdam” here:
