Globally renowned duo Orbital continue everlasting electronic music legacy with new album ‘Optical Delusion’

Paul and Phil Hartnoll have been electronic music tastemakers for over three decades with their evolving and dynamic sound. The brother duo behind the Orbital project has remained at the top of their game as they carve a lasting imprint on the dance music space that will last for years to come. Following their 30th-anniversary compilation ’30 Something’ from last year, the brothers return with a sparked sense of creativity in their tenth studio album, ‘Optical Delusion’.

Dubbed “titans of the genre”, Orbital’s latest LP melds old-school drum and bass with their own take on hyper pop for a scintillating sonic journey. The bold composition of the album highlights Orbtial’s pristine production skills and knack for delivering a signature sound that’s entirely their own.

If the album wasn’t already special enough, Orbital has also reached #6 in the UK album charts. This marks their first Top 10 release since 1999.  As original lords of the rave, Orbital’s illustrious career seems like it has no end in sight. 

To commemorate the release of the album, the brother duo shared an adorable behind-the-scenes video of them recording some promo for the tour. The pair shares a good laugh and seem to be ecstatic about the monumental career moment.
