Android Jones Lost Over 20 Years of Work in Devastating Studio Fire

A chance to emerge from the ashes and be reborn has presented itself to artist Android Jones with funds from loving supporters to help him recover a burned-down art studio.

Psychedelic visionary artist Android Jones known for his mind-altering designs suffered a devastating loss to his artwork collection in a fire that burned down his Colorado art studio on January 18.

Android Jones said the fire, which is unclear how it started, caused his beloved barn/studio/temple to become completely engulfed in flames and is now left to ashes. He explained that his father built the barn with his hands and how he has grown up in it. He created a GoFundMe to help him with rebuilding a new studio and has received an abundance of donations from supporters – surpassing his goal of $250,000 with $276,026 currently. The top donation was $10,101.

The multifaceted artist who has mastered attention to detail when it comes to being -trippy- lost basically everything to the fire. Such as his sketchbooks, archived originals, drawings, paintings, all his art materials, terabytes of over 20 years of digital art, and all of his projects. Android Jones is well known for his digital artwork, clothing designs, pin designs, posters, and prints. He also creates tapestries with his designs, holograms, yoga mats, NFTs, and more.

Android Jone’s NFT “ROBOT” was even displayed in Times Square in New York City in 2021 for NFT Magazine and the crypto art fair. He also recently did a massive mural on the wall at The Lyons Town Hall in Colorado in October. Android Jone also displayed his live digital art at Burning Man in 2022.

Android Jones’ true grief could be felt in his GoFundMe description where he described his loss as he has never felt this vulnerable and raw, along with feeling like a ghost of his former self. He described his artwork as precious and sacred – that the barn was a place where his manifestations and creative ability came alive. His supporters knew what they had to do.

Now that Android Jones has the funds that he needs to rebuild his barn, it will be painful, but he can ease into starting fresh and have a stress-free rebuilding process.
