World’s Biggest Hard Techno Event Verknipt Launches New Record Label

Verknipt has announced the birth of Verknipt Records and new music this summer.

Verknipt is set to launch Verknipt Records on March 15th with a number of new music releases from their artists. Verknipt events have already been a popular destination for emerging hard techno acts. The launch of the record label is a collaboration with Be Yourself Music, a Dutch music label with a similar mission of increasing the hard techno fanbase.

Verknipt Records will kick off with brand-new music throughout the summer. The label will be releasing a new track every three weeks. The first release was Luciid’s “Bunker Buster.” The single kickstarts the hard techno core base that the record label will be targeting.

Hard techno has been growing in popularity beyond the European scene in the last couple of years. Its resurgence has prompted more hard techno artists at major EDM festivals around the world. Be Yourself Music has been in the hard techno scene and has seen its transformation since 2005 providing labels like Verknipt tools in artist development in the hard techno space.

The music label Be Yourself has been developing electronic dance music and artists like Fedde le Grand, Nicky Romero, and Dada Life. This is not their first time collaborating with other brands and labels. In the past, Be Yourself Music has also collaborated with Q Dance and Thunderdome to increase the reach of hard techno music.

Verknipt is also looking to develop talent in a way that inspires the community and continues its growth. Their established foothold in the industry puts them at a different caliber than other new labels. With dedicated fans who know the atmosphere they bring to a live space, much is to be expected from Verknipt artists.

Despite their newfound pursuit, Verknipt will still stick to its roots and continue to put on events around the world throughout the remainder of 2024. The global party hosts will be making stops in Colombia, Croatia, and Germany, to name a few places. They will also still be hosting the world’s largest hard techno festival at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam.

Hi! My name is Destine and I found a love for House and EDM through my time in the NYC dance community. My favorite thing about music is how it brings people together without having to say a word. Some of my favorite artists include Kaytranada, Kelela, Shygirl, and Uncle Waffles.
