LESSSS Sets Hard Techno Dance Floors Ablaze on Spring Tour

LESSSS’ high energy approach to hard techno has made her one to watch in the scene.

LESSSS is a techno DJ and producer with a style that takes listeners along on a rollercoaster ride that only goes up. Unafraid of an intense approach to the music, her hard-hitting sound mixes hard techno with a dark, punk adjacent aesthetic. Her music permeates through the floors and walls of the venues she plays, making her one to watch in the techno scene this year.

Originally from France, her love for techno music led her to study sound engineering in college. Since graduating, LESSSS has been curating a sound that makes your heart race. She has performed at some of the biggest stages and festivals including Soenda Festival and a memorable Boiler Room set in Manchester.

Her single “Infinity” featuring MKRS, drags listeners into her sonic universe. The bass catches and echoes in a way that makes it hard to break out of its trance. Similarly, her single “Come With Me” is softer with a reverberation that makes it appear as if the song is exhaling.

LESSSS is currently a resident at Teletech where she performed her Boiler Room Set. Watching her set you can almost visibly see the sweat fogging the air and merging sweaty bodies back to back as they get lost in the music.

This is the kind of infectious energy that has brought her music to fans overseas as well. Lessss’ Boiler Room set is full of a constant vibration that carries the room into nonstop mania even through the transitions. Her sound still demands to be felt in the interims of bass drops and synths even in her collaborations with other artists.

LESSSS is already packing out venues before her debut album even hits the streaming platforms. The hard techno scene is on the rise in popularity and may not be ready for the sonic evolution she’s bringing. Don’t miss your chance to see LESSSS live as she tours select cities across Europe this spring.

Hi! My name is Destine and I found a love for House and EDM through my time in the NYC dance community. My favorite thing about music is how it brings people together without having to say a word. Some of my favorite artists include Kaytranada, Kelela, Shygirl, and Uncle Waffles.
