Adam Beyer’s Drumcode imprint infiltrated Drumsheds this past weekend with a complete techno takeover. The lineup was made up of 20 techno artists spanning across three rooms split to represent Drumcode Records, Junction 2, and Truesoul artists.

The event infused different styles of techno including a multitude of live performances from artists like Stephan Bodzin, Parra for Cuva, and Woo York. Others who performed at the show are artists who are at the forefront of the dance music world including Matt Guy, Yotto, La Fluer, Rebūke, Kolsch, Mha iri, Julia Goldfarb, and more.

Although the event showcased many live performances, a standout on the main stage was Innellea who debuted his newest album ‘The Belonging‘ which was released in early February. This was the first time the Munich-based DJ and producer played at Drumsheds for a live performance. Innellea’s set combined melancholic and cinematic soundscapes mixed with live vocals to create a euphoric atmosphere for the 15,000 patrons in the crowd.

Not only did Innellea bring out Grammy award-winning MC Flowdan to perform their hit, “Forward Forever” off the new album, but he also shared a special moment on stage with his family when he brought his mother, father, and sister on stage for a tear-filled reunion.

Another standout act from the night was Layton Giordani who has been riding a high from his latest release “Paranoid,” which has been at the top of Beatport charts since it was dropped and released by none other than Expert Only Records

Adam Beyer ended the event with a headline performance electrifying the crowd with his trademark modern techno style. Performing a combination of his hits throughout the years as well as unreleased IDs, Beyer closed the night at Drumcode’s biggest UK showcase ever.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
