Innellea to Release Debut Album with Collabs From Flowdan, Monolink, Camelphat and More

German producer Innellea announces release date and drops first single for upcoming debut album ‘The Belonging.’

Innovative techno and progressive house producer Innellea has announced his long-awaited debut album, ‘The Belonging,’ to be released February 9th 2024 on Distorted Youth in collaboration with [PIAS] Electronique. The album will feature a variety of artists including German singer-producer Monolink, house legends Camelphat, and Flowdan of “Gassed Up” fame. Similar to some of his previous EPs, the project will be a cohesive multimedia concept which will include several music videos, creative social media use, and a live show tour.

To kick off the project, Innellea has also released the first single and music video, “Silence” featuring Maurice Kaar. The track plunges the listener into a captivating dichotomy of dark, ominous tones and light, hopeful ones that mimics life’s ups and downs. Kaar’s touching vocals call for togetherness as a means to cope with these downs, a theme that will be at the heart of ‘The Belonging.’

The music video for “Silence” counterposes bright, peaceful images of youth and human connection with gloomy, unsettling images of trauma and isolation. Powerful, poignant phrases appear on screen at the beginning and end of the video: “I CAN BARELY REMEMBER THIS PLACE ON EARTH WHERE THE WORLD ALLOWED ME TO BE WHOEVER I WANTED TO BE. AND WHAT IF MY DREAMS WERE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS IN MY LIFE. WOULD IT BE A WASTED LIFE IN A WORLD LIKE THIS?”

“Silence” and its music video preview the “collective experienced catharsis” that Innellea aims for in his forthcoming project. “As personal crises are part of life, we want to go through this journey collectively and include everyone around us who might be silent, burnt out, and struggling,” he says. “Together, we will go forward forever through all the insanity to reach where we truly belong.”

Innellea’s unique artistry will be on display in the coming months as more singles and music videos are released leading up to ‘The Belonging.’ Learn more on his official website, pre-save ‘The Belonging’ here.
