Adam Beyer and Green Velvet Drop Massive Collab on Drumcode

Adam Beyer and Green Velvet team up yet again to bring fans their newest single “Simulator” out on April 21st.

Swedish techno DJ Adam Beyer and Chicago house icon Green Velvet team up once again. Since their first musical collaboration since “Space Date” in 2018 with their latest single, Adam Beyer and Green Velvet now bring us “Simulator.” This track is a perfect representation of Adam Beyer and Green Velvet’s signature styles. Seamlessly bringing together the best elements of techno and house music.

“Simulator” is a high-energy track that features driving percussion, a pulsing bassline, and a catchy vocal hook. The track has already been making waves in the techno and house music scenes, and it’s set to drop today, April 21, 2023. This date is auspiciously pegged in between Beyer’s first solo shows at Coachella, where he’ll headline the Yuma stage.

Initially developed as a solo production in 2019 by Beyer, the track’s distinctive groove reminded him of a classic Green Velvet production, “Destination Unknown.” After reconnecting with the Chicago legend, “Simulation” as we know it quickly came to fruition, and it stands as one of the most beloved Drumcode releases of the last decade. Their latest union is no less memorable, and it reinforces the special musical synergy between Beyer and the Cajual Records founder.

“Simulator” is a rugged techno beast, characterized by industrial grooves, and brain-melting oscillating effects. But also, with one of Green Velvet’s deft vocal lines – “constant stimulation inside the simulation.” This vocal fittingly speaks of the complexities of our times. The track has been making an appearance everywhere on stages! This includes Ultra events in Miami, Johannesburg, and Abu Dhabi to Awakenings. So, of course, it’s already generating buzz in the techno and house music scenes.

Overall, “Simulator” is an impressive collaboration between two of the biggest names in techno and house music. It’s a must-listen for fans of both genres! Also, it is sure to be a staple in DJ sets for months to come. You can listen to this new groove below!

My name is Emilee Gabbard. I currently live in sunny Orange County, CA. By day I am a project manager working in the aerospace industry, but by night a music blogger for yours truly, Exron Music! I have been writing for Exron Music for around eight months now and cannot wait to see what is to come throughout the years. At festivals and clubs, you will find me at any house and techno stage supporting my favorites Eli Brown or Dom Dolla, or belting every word to Porter Robinson tracks wherever he performs.
