Yellow Claw Shares Heartwarming Reason for Recent Hiatus From Music Career

Nils Rondhuis of Yellow Claw revealed on Instagram that he is welcoming a baby to his family and has taken time off to prepare for the journey.

One-half of Yellow Claw, Nils Rondhuis, gave fans a peek into what he has been up to over the last few months while announcing that he and his partner are welcoming a baby. The post is a series of pictures capturing moments in the artist’s life over the last few months.

The producer wrote, “Got great news at the beginning of this year so took some off time to prep body and mind,” and the series of photos highlights this sentiment. The first photo shows Rondhuis holding up a two-piece set for a baby. In the next, he is shown hanging a picture outside of his studio and then building a crib.

Views of beautiful waterside scener and a green running path continue the post, along with one documenting a 20-kilometer run. A picture of homemade bread comes after, followed by a peaceful one of Rondhuis reading. The last is a fortune cookie reading, “It is easier to understand a nation by listening to its music than by learning its language.”

With everything going on in their lives, Yellow Claw remains a force to be reckoned with. The trap artists traveled around the world this summer on a North American tour and played shows in Asia. On top of that, they are playing Amsterdam Dance Event this month.

The Dutch duo last released music in July under €URO TRA$H, Yellow Claw’s tech house alias. Their official return has been awaited, but this news is incredibly exciting and there is nothing but positivity being given.

The announcement of a baby spurred tons of well-wishes from the community. Congratulations to Nils Rondhuis and his family on the heartwarming news!
