Snails Shares Incredible 70-Pound Weight Loss in New Photos

In a series of photos on Instagram, dubstep producer, Snails, revealed that he has lost 70 pounds in ten months.

Snails has been on a weight loss journey for almost a year, committing to working on his health and sobriety. He posted photos and videos on Instagram, beginning with a side-by-side comparison of the artist from ten months ago to now, showing his weight loss from the front and the side. The next is a sweet photo of him and his girlfriend, Teegan, who he said always pushed him and motivated him.

He is then shown posing in front of a sign that says, “TACOS,” before a video of Snails doing a pull-up before posing in front of a Ferris wheel. Another video is him playing to a crowd before a silly one ends the series of posts with him smiling. His genuine caption went through the feelings that come with a health journey, writing, “When I look at myself in the mirror I finally see someone [who’s] happy and smiling.”

He continued, “For most of my life, I wasn’t able to look in any mirror in fear of seeing and hating myself every single time…I wake up today with pure happiness after 10 months of changing my habits, sobriety, and taking care of myself with 70 pounds down.” He gave a shout-out to his mom and thanked her for her consistent motivation.

The update comes after a post he made in June, showing fans his experience with sobriety and overall lifestyle changes. Snails acknowledged that everyone’s health is different and that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to weight loss.

He wrote, “The best advice for someone wanting to take a similar journey is, no matter what you do, the results, or how long it takes, everybody is different and everybody has their own path.” Snails’ journey has been beneficial for him, and it is always exciting to see others thriving.

Snails finished the heartfelt post with the promise of new music coming soon. While we wait for new tracks, listen to his latest release, “Is This Even Dubstep?!” on all streaming platforms. Congratulations to Snails and best wishes on the rest of his journey!
