Aaron Hibell Shares Shocking Photos of Eczema and Opens Up About Extreme Skin Issues

Aaron Hibell Discusses the harsh reality of his ongoing battle with eczema to fans.

Popular trance/techno producer Aaron Hibell took to Instagram to share about his skin condition. Hibell posted a series of photos of himself and with severe patches of eczema in several places on his skin.

Eczema or atopic dermatitis is an inflammatory skin condition that causes dry skin, rashes, and rough patches on the skin associated with the development of food and environmental allergies. These dry patches commonly cause itchiness.

Showing solidarity to others suffering from skin conditions, he wanted to show people they weren’t alone. Hibell, who has been dealing with eczema for his entire life, shared some vulnerable photos of himself with the eczema on hard to cover places like his face and neck.

In his post he says, “Many of you probably haven’t noticed be I cover it up well on social media but I’ve been suffering with some pretty serious eczema all my life. Recently it started to spread aggressively and I was getting extremely worried but I was only getting prescribed more steroid creams which weren’t even working. This was my lowest point. I was having some very dark thoughts and seriously questioned whether I’d ever recover.”

Aaron goes on to explain how he met a wonderful aesthetician that assisted him with treatment. He followed her advice by treating his skin from the inside out. “I started taking probiotics from Biocare to repair my gut and this Serum that Pam herself developed and it’s really helping my recovery (it’s literally the ONLY thing that actually hydrates my skin).”

Though the probiotics and serum didn’t completely get rid off his eczema and Hibell details how he still deals with the obstacles of this condition to this day. Ultimately he shares his sentiment with others dealing with similar issues as this eczema can not only be uncomfortable but also a hit to your self esteem.

He closes out his message with “Just want this post to be a reminder that no matter what, you’re not alone with what you’re dealing with. It’s a massive pain in my side but I won’t let it stop me achieving what I want to achieve and neither will you. We’ll get through this together.”

Aaron Hibell released his debut EP “Twilight Zone” showcasing his minimalistic fusion of techno, trance, and progressive house. Check out the full EP below!
