ZHU to Release New Album ‘GRACE’ Recorded at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco

ZHU announces his fourth studio album ‘GRACE’ which he recorded at Grace Cathedral in his hometown of San Francisco.

Effortlessly electrifying and iconic, ZHU has been the king of cool for almost a decade. Throughout this year, the star has been hinting at a new project on social media, and on September 8, ZHU revealed his fourth studio album ‘GRACE’ set to be released on January 19, 2024, on Astralwerks.

In lieu of the ‘GRACE’ announcement, ZHU also released four new tracks from the album that foreshadow the essence of his new project. However, it was earlier this year that fans got a first listen when he released “Revelations” featuring Devault and BabyJake in May followed by “Changes” in July.

“Take My Soul” featuring Devault is melodic with notes of gospel and grime. Whereas, “Devil’s Prescription” is smooth and seductive, and “Days Before Grace” is hip-hop inspired and champions the producer’s signature guitar and synth sounds. Featuring vocals by Reo Cragun and Rexx Life Raj, “Blind Believer” is a high-energy groove.

Revamping his style with a blood-red aesthetic that exudes underworld energy, ZHU is diving head-first into his next era of music. Indulging in themes of sex and satanism, the producer is taking listeners on a journey to explore the taboo. Not to mention, ZHU shared that the majority of ‘GRACE’ was recorded in his hometown of San Francisco at the Grace Cathedral. Surely, this added inspiration to his artistic vision.

With four new tracks and the “Devil’s Prescription” video just released, plus The Grace Tour almost underway, fans are eager to experience ‘GRACE’ in its final form. In response to the album announcement, one person commented, “This is so damn good! Maybe your best yet.” Another said, “THE RETURN OF THE KING.”

Since his 2021 album ‘DREAMLAND,’ ZHU’s return has been highly anticipated. Now fully conceptualized and ready to be shared, The Grace Tour is set to kick off on September 14 in Toronto. Covering cities across North America like Brooklyn, Dallas, Morrison, and Los Angeles, ZHU is giving fans something to hold onto as they wait for ‘GRACE’ to be released in 2024.

CD and vinyl editions of ‘GRACE’ are available for pre-order here.
