Chelsea Cutler Drops New Single “Your Bones” About Girlfriend Ahead of October Stellaria Album

Chelsea Cutler has released her love song, “Your Bones,” from her upcoming album, ‘Stellaria‘ – an ode to her girlfriend, Tilly.

Chelsea Cutler has been a force in the music industry over the last few years, releasing heartbreaking electro-indie songs. The artist is overflowing with talent and ability as a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. With powerful lyrics, a simple yet cinematic instrumental, and her signature warm vibes, Chelsea Cutler has fully returned with “Your Bones.”

It begins with a string instrument and Cutler’s beautiful vocals on top before pianos and kickdrums join the background. As the song continues, whistling and humming begin, bringing a nostalgic feel. The musician has created a song that is distinctly her and gives listeners a look into her relationship.

“Your Bones” went viral on social media when fans began using it as a soundtrack to their love stories. The emotional lyrics pull listeners into an overwhelming narrative of unconditional love that differs from her past heartwrenching tracks. About the song, Cutler said, “These words just felt like the most easy and truthful way to describe my relationship; but somehow, these words have already grown to seemingly explain love in so many different ways for so many people.” 

She continued, “Whether it has been self-love or love for a pet, best friend, sibling, child, or partner, it has meant the world seeing all these beautiful pieces of your lives.” The lyrics, “I love you down to your bones, naked and afraid, they tell me that’s when you know / I feel you, taking me home, dusk until the dawn, you’re where I wanna go,” drive this sentiment home.

Cutler revealed that the music video was captured by her girlfriend, who shot footage this summer. Cutler and her partner enjoyed the clips so much that the singer decided to use them as her music video. It embodies summer and love, showing the couple at a lake, running through grassy fields, and sharing ice cream.
