Louis The Child Prepares for Sophomore Album with “How High” Music Video

Electro-pop duo, Louis The Child, has released the music video for “How High,” giving fans a look into their time headlining Lollapalooza.

Lollapalooza runs deep for Louis The Child, taking place in their hometown of Chicago. The music video for “How High” captures its nostalgic feel as the pair is followed leading up to their performance. As they hang out with friends and visit local businesses, home videos and footage from past shows are blended in. 

Robby Hauldren and Frederic Kennett of Louis The Child are shown in their childhood and then the beginning of their career a decade ago. Their performances from the last ten years are spliced into their show at Lollapalooza this year, highlighting the massive amount of support that they have gained since their debut. Festival-goers are shown dancing and smiling as electronic music plays out.

In the video directed by @a_ciggs, the two work at Portillo’s Hot Dogs, skateboard, and celebrate on a boat. The viewer is taken through different phases of the artists’ lives and what they are experiencing in the present. “How High” was released last month, helping Louis The Child move into a dreamy new era.

Louis The Child said, “This music video was shot during Lollapalooza weekend in our hometown, Chicago. It follows us around the whole weekend and shows memories of past Lollapaloozas and times at home. Enjoy.”

The memories intertwined with clips of their Lollapalooza set bring listeners back to the artists’ roots and show their accomplishments. Louis The Child’s debut album, ‘Here For Now,’ has garnered over 200 million streams on Spotify, leaving listeners craving more.
