Jacknife Delivers Six-Track EP and Continues Debut US Tour

Australian talent Jacknife finally reveals the full “BLADE ROOM” EP in the midst of his debut US tour

Following the release of singles “NEED2KNOW,” “MOVE,” AND “4U,” fast-rising talent Jacknife completes “THE BLADE ROOM” EP with three new singles that explore a new vision for the talented producer. Out now via Bladed Black Records, each of the six tracks showcases his prowess for multigenre creations in the midst of his biggest year to date.

In addition to the release of the EP, Jacknife has been captivating the hearts of Americans across his debut US tour. He also was direct support for SVDDEN DEATH‘s sold-out Academy LA show and made his Space Yacht debut at Sound Nightclub last month. The second phase of his THE BLADE ROOM Tour commences on September 15.

The three new singles “GOODBYE,” “HIVE MIND,” and “TAKE ME” explore heavy bass elements as well as nostalgic vocals and melodies providing an all-encompassing audio experience for the listener. His passion for his craft is evident in the high energy soundscapes that are destined to take the bass music scene by storm.

Jacknife commented on the release, “For the ‘BLADE ROOM’ EP I wanted to combine elements from my older sounds with a newer approach of variety. Tracks like “NEED2KNOW,” “MOVE,” and “4U,” I wanted to have the house groove but with a more energetic approach to give the body of work more variety. The other tracks “HIVE MIND,” “TAKE ME,” and “GOODBYE,” represent a new path and vision for the BLADE ROOM project doused with half-time/trap and energetic switch-ups. I also wanted to play around with nostalgic vocals, melodies, and hard-hitting drums.”

The EP serves as a testament to JACKNIFE’s evolving artistry and ability to span genre lines as the streaming numbers continue to stack up. The Los Angeles-based producer carves out a unique space in the electronic music world with his cutting-edge productions as he embarks on the rest of his US tour.
