VOYD Forced To Play As SVDDEN DEATH After Airline Loses His Luggage

VOYD was forced to play as SVDDEN DEATH after losing his luggage during his flight to Paris.

VOYD was scheduled to play at Lollapalooza Paris on Saturday, July 22, but revealed in a tweet that Brussels Airlines had misplaced his luggage and the luggage contained his VOYD mask and backup mask. He explained in a tweet that he spent 12 hours at the airport looking for the luggage but had no luck.

SVDDEN DEATH said Brussels Airlines never let him know where it was or got back to him before the festival. The tweet added that he hates “karen-ing” on socials but needed to explain why he won’t be playing as VOYD without the mask. SVDDEN DEATH then apologized to everyone that came to see this set as VOYD.

SVDDEN DEATH noted it was completely out of his and his team’s hands and in the hands of Brussels Airlines. He said he’s glad he was still able to perform a SVDDEN DEATH set to close out Lolla Paris.

Multiple people replied to the tweet with their thoughts about the news of the missing VOYD mask. They said: “Security that opens up his bag to see a moose skull will definitely be in for a treat lmao” and “President Biden, what is your plan to address the missing Voyd mask?”

In another tweet, SVDDEN DEATH posted a photo of his VOYD mask and said: “Some random airport worker rn.” People found this to be hilarious and said: “Best tweet for the week haha cracks me up” and “I laughed way too hard at this.”

Earlier this year in March, SVDDEN DEATH did a highly anticipated collab with Sullivan King for a single called “Pursuit of Violence” which was described as “a match made in the depths of hell.” He also has plans to do a b2b with Rezz which will also be highly awaited.
