GORDO Announces Eight-Hour Set to Take Place at Brooklyn Mirage

GORDO has announced that he will play a full-time shift at the Brooklyn Mirage in New York City this summer.

Guatemalan American DJ and record producer GORDO will take on the ultimate challenge this summer. As per a recent announcement on social media, he has committed to performing at the Brooklyn Mirage on July 16 … for an eight-hour set!

Whereas most artists have the privilege of not working shifts, GORDO is flipping the script. It’s rare to watch musicians work a full-time stretch, which is what makes this concert particularly spectacular. People will come and go, but the conductor will remain at his post.

Calling it “the craziest set of my life,” GORDO let his fans know that he has never attempted something like this before. To be fair, most artists haven’t either. This one-of-a-kind set will be one of the most unique events in EDM history and we encourage you to check it out. Tickets are available here.

GORDO tweeted the following message in the days leading up to the announcement: “I’m announcing the biggest gordo show to date on Monday…. You guys been asking me to play here for years… and it’s finally time… there will be fans traveling from all over the country for this…so please.. sign up for presale so you don’t miss out!!”

There’s no better venue than the iconic Brooklyn Mirage for this show to take place in. The hosts also posted the following message about the significance of GORDO’s debut on their stage: “This will be the longest solo set in Brooklyn Mirage history to date.”

GORDO has become one of the most important names in dance music over the past few years. Last year, he produced 6 of the 14 songs on Drake’s album, ‘Honestly, Nevermind.’ Since then, he has become one of the most sought-after artists in the electronic music space and beyond.
