This month, Drake was awarded Billboard’s 2022 Top Dance/Electronic Artist honor. Earlier this year,  “Honestly, Nevermind” debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 204,000 units sold. With this project alone, Drake jumped in front of Lady Gaga as the Top Dance/Electronic Albums Artist, finishing the year off at No. 2. Gaga is also No. 2 on the overall Top Dance/Electronic Artists chart, after ending 2020 and 2021 at No. 1.

Throughout the summer, Drake made several stops to support some of his collaborators including Black Coffee at Hï Ibiza, and Keinemuski in St Tropez. Some would say that this was the album of the summer and “Massive” quickly became a household name.

GORDO collaborated on “Calling My Name,” “Sticky,” “Massive,” “Currents,” “Flight’s Booked,” and “Tie That Binds.” Grammy-winning house music producer Black Coffee, who previously worked with Drake before on the hit record “Get it Together”, also contributed to three songs, which display his South African house and techno influences on the project.

Finally, the last dance music contributions come from none other than Berlin-based Keinemusik collective members, Rampa and &ME. The two producers collaborated on “Falling Back” and “A Keeper”. Following the release, Drake posted a photo dump on his Instagram, including the producers’ collective name ‘Keinemusik’ as the main photo.

Finally, Drake is coming off of the release of his latest #1 album, “Her Loss with 21 Savage. The project jumped to the Billboard 200 with over 400,000 copies sold, earning the biggest debut week in hip-hop of the year.

My name is Sebastian Medina and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Ever since I could remember, I have always been in love with dance music. I appreciate all genres and sub-genres but I definitely gravitate towards house and techno. Being from LA I was blessed with an amazing nightlife full of different artists coming in and out of town throughout the years. Some of my favorite artists include Seth Troxler, Michael Bibi, Mr.Carmack, PAWSA, and Folamour.
