Over the past few years, one dubstep artist has seemed to disappear from the scene leaving fans wondering what happened to Getter.

Getter is one of the dubstep names many people would know from the earlier dubstep days. He rose to fame as one of the most promising producers in the genre in the early 2010s. Born as Tanner Petulla, this California native quickly captured the attention of fans worldwide with his unique blend of heavy basslines and innovative sound design. His journey from the underground to the main stage captivated audiences globally. However, in recent years, the artist has undergone a fascinating transformation, leaving many wondering, “What happened to Getter?“

Getter initially gained traction through the release of his tracks on labels like Firepower Records and OWSLA. His music became a staple in the sets of dubstep fans. His distinct style, characterized by gritty synths and aggressive drops earned him a dedicated following within the bass music community. However, as the dubstep scene evolved, so did Getter.
