Drumcode Celebrates 300 Label Releases with Female Techno Artist Mha Iri’s Gripping ‘Bombay’ EP

To commemorate its momentous 300^th label release, Drumcode Records has unveiled techno artist Mha Iri’s electrifying ‘Bombay’ EP.

The techno music powerhouse Drumcode Records has called upon Mha Iri to celebrate its 300^th release with her two-track EP ‘Bombay’.   Drumcode has become intimately known for its dark sexy techno, serving as a breeding ground for some of the most influential artists. Undoubtedly, Mha Iri’s distinctively deep and gripping sound profile only strengthens Drumcode’s preeminence in its domain.

Originally from Scotland, Mha Iri has quickly emerged as a driving force within the techno space.  Mha Iri’s meteoric rise within the Drumcode family commenced with her inaugural track, “Never Go Back To Sleep”. Soon after, Mha Iri’s “Bell” swiftly ascended to #1 on Beatport’s techno Top 100, solidifying her status as an undeniable musical force. The track’s critical acclaim prompted Drumcode to feature it in their Change The Beat remix competition and its latest ‘Elevate Vol. II’ compilation.

The crown jewel track of Mha Iri’s illustrious discography, “Bombay” exudes an unquestionable fierceness and incredibly refined sound. A mix of tribal rhythms, pulsating basslines, and captivating vocals, the titular track is a masterpiece in its own right. Complementing this track is “Existence”, an inexplicably euphoric track seamlessly elevated through its evocative vocals.

Adam Beyer‘s Drumcode Records has evolved into a global powerhouse, releasing tracks from an impressive range of burgeoning talent and established artists.  Relative newcomers to the label include rising stars such as Layton Giordani and Eli Brown. Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami’s venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 10+ years now.
