In an emotional Instagram announcement, the beloved women’s ravewear brand Ragebratz has revealed its closure after four years of operation. Undoubtedly, the brand’s announcement marks the end of an era for the founders and their loyal fan base. Filled with gratitude and reflection, the statement expressed the founders’ mixed emotions as they bid farewell to their business venture.

Ragebratz highlighted the incredible support they received from their customers, who served as a guiding light throughout the brand’s journey. Despite the closure, Ragebratz emphasized that their creations will live on through their customers, as outfits are meant to be worn and cherished beyond a single occasion. Personal statements from the founders further underscored the emotional significance of this decision. The Ragebratz girls underscored the joy of empowering women through fashion and the camaraderie that defined their business partnership.

The founders extended apologies for their delayed responses preceding the announcement, further signaling the work they put into their statement.  Clearly, Ragebratz’s closure is a poignant reminder of the ebb and flow in the small business world. While the decision to part ways comes as a shock, its legacy has paved the way for future female-run clothing ventures.

Having grown up just an earshot from Ultra Miami's venue Bayfront Park, it was next to impossible for me not to fall in love with electronic music. My love for music was evidently strong enough for me to write my college essay on festival culture and continue attending Ultra for 10+ years now. I have always had a knack for writing and the power of words, which I continued cultivating through a Philosophy degree in college. Now, I am finishing up law school and hope to merge my passions by working in the music industry. I am an avid traveler and am certainly not afraid to hop on a plane for a music event. My next bucket list items to attend are Tomorrowland in Belgium and ADE in the Netherlands. Though the list could go on forever, some of my favorite artists include Franky Wah, Kevin de Vries, Eli Brown, and John Summit.
