Brazil’s Surreal Park Slated to Open New Nightclub JETSET Inside Boeing 727 Plane

A transformation from air to land, this Boeing 727 is given new life in Renato Ratier’s newest brainchild, JETSET.

The nightlife landscape in Brazil is taking off to unprecedented heights this summer – no pun intended. Nightlife enthusiasts will see the debut of JETSET, an avant-garde nightclub nestled within the fuselage of a Boeing 727-200. This bold, new concept is taking form at the aptly named Surreal Park, promising a fusion of music, art, and aviation like never before.

The Boeing 727-200, a relic of air travel once seating up to 189 passengers, is undergoing a dramatic transformation. Currently being disassembled at Curitiba airport, the plane is destined for a new life in Camboriú, Santa Catarina, as the centerpiece of Surreal Park’s new expansion. The project, led by the visionary Renato Ratier, involves extensive refurbishment including chroming and structural modifications to morph this once common airliner into a nightclub venue.

Renato Ratier is not a newcomer to Brazil’s vibrant club scene. His fingerprints are on some of the most iconic venues, such as D-Edge in São Paulo and Warung Beach Club. His latest venture, JETSET, is not just another club but a symbol of innovation, merging the relic of aviation with music entertainment in an unprecedented way.

The launch of JETSET is timed with an impressive lineup of events, marking its opening with performances by renowned artists such as Margaret Dygas, ANNA, Wehbba, Bhaskar, and Illusionize. This lineup sets a high standard, showcasing the club’s commitment to offering top-tier musical experiences. The venue is also set to play a significant role in the upcoming Surreal Festival, further embedding itself within the fabric of Brazil’s music scene.

Brazil’s nightlife is renowned for its vibrancy and diversity, reflecting the country’s rich cultural tapestry. Clubs like D-Edge and venues throughout Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo have placed Brazil firmly on the global nightlife map. JETSET, with its unique blend of music, location, and concept, aims to elevate this reputation, offering both locals and tourists an unmatched clubbing experience.

As JETSET prepares for its grand unveiling, the anticipation builds not just for a new place to dance the night away, but for a venue that promises to transcend traditional clubbing experiences. Surreal Park continues to solidify its status as a hub of innovation and creativity, with JETSET poised to become its crowning jewel. The transformation of a decommissioned aircraft into a pulsating heart of music and nightlife captures the spirit of Brazilian ingenuity and the endless possibilities within the realm of entertainment.
