Deadmau5 has announced the return of his legendary Cube stage for his ‘Retro5pective’ tour, celebrating 20 years of electronic mastery.

Celebrating two decades of groundbreaking sounds and mesmerizing beats, Deadmau5 has announced his upcoming tour, ‘Retro5pective: 20 years of deadmau5’. Importantly, Deadmau5 will be resurrecting his famous Cube stage – undoubtedly adding an extra layer of anticipation for fans old and new. This immersive journey through his illustrious career promises to captivate audiences with a blend of classic hits and heaters from the vault.  

The tour will kick off at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on April 24, marking the first time deadmau5 performs at this venue. Thereafter, Deadmau5 will play at the Brooklyn Mirage on May 2 and 3. Finally, the Retro5spective tour will host its finale at the breathtaking Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on November 1 and 2.

Catering to several generations, the LA and Denver shows will be all-ages, while the Brooklyn dates will be 21+. Joining deadmau5 for select shows will be the German techno marching band MEUTE, promising a refreshing fusion of sounds. Fans can expect an unreal special guest for each date, adding to overall anticipation around the tour.

Given his lengthy musical repertoire, it’s just about anyone’s guess who the special appearances may be.  Nonetheless, some obvious picks would be friends and recent collaborators such as Volaris, Rezz, and Kaskade.  Between his work on Mau5trap, Rezzmau5, and Kx5, there will undoubtedly be no dull moments on tour.

With bangers like “Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff,” “Strobe,” and “I Remember” under his belt, fans can expect plenty of hits to pay homage to throughout the night.  Apart from music, Deadmau5 is also a co-founder of the metaverse gaming venture PIXELYNX and an executive at StreamVoodoo. With his finger infallibly on the pulse of innovation, Deadmau5 continues to prove his incredible influence beyond simply music.
