deadmau5 and ZHU to Perform Techno Aliases at Rare Three-Show Run in San Francisco

deadmau5 and ZHU are teaming up to throw a trio of shows in San Francisco featuring their techno aliases TESTPILOT and BLACKLIZT.

ZHU and deadmau5 are bringing techno to San Francisco. Both renowned electronic artists are teaming up to perform a trio of unique shows on October 20-22.

Unlike anything they’ve ever done before, deadmau5 and ZHU have curated a three-night run of distinctly different sets. Showcasing both sides of their electronic identities, the two producers are joining forces to celebrate the duality of their classic sounds along with their underground techno aliases.

ZHU’s GRACE Tour will kick off the spree on October 20. On the heels of recently announcing his upcoming album ‘GRACE,’ ZHU will be treating fans to never-before-heard tracks along with album singles that he’s recently released. Making the tour in itself is highly anticipated. Those attending ZHU’s headline at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium will also get a special set from deadmau5. Performing as his techno alter ego TESTPILOT, the Canadian producer will be setting the tone for his headline set on the following night.

On October 21, deadmau5 will be pulling out all of the stops for his Day of the Deadmau5 Block Party. Starting the night off with a techno-fueled TESTPILOT set, the producer will double up by closing out the night with his signature Day of the Deadmau5 show. And of course, ZHU will be the special guest, splitting up deadmau5’s sets with an exclusive appearance as BLACKLIZT. To have both of these legendary producers turning on their techno faces on the same night will make for an unforgettable evening at The Midway.

ZHU and deadmau5 will finish off their three-night throwdown on October 22 at The Midway. Returning to their roots, both producers will play sets starring their individual styles. House-inspired yet forward-thinking in their own ways, ZHU and deadmau5 are unequivocal household names in the industry.

The fact that ZHU and deadmau5 are coming together to put on an all-encompassing display of their creative range is what makes this event so rare. Tickets for ZHU’s October 20 show and deadmau5’s October 21 show are already on sale. Whereas, tickets for their collaborative closer on October 22 will go live to the general public on September 15 at 10am PT.
